I explained this in detail the last time you asked. In a nutshell, I expect USB and LSB to be dead-on as it is with AM. It is off in free space while the signal edge is to the left or right depending on which sideband is selected. When tuning known USB or LSB amateur stations, the tune line is never the edge of the transmission. I am confident my inability to comprehend this is frustrating. To see where the tune line is in relation to the signal. It would be helpful for me to see photos of someone else's HDSDR tuned properly to one of the WEFAX stations. This screenshot is at the carrier frequency 4.235 khz. I am trying to figure out if my USB/LSB panadapter settings need tweaking or not. The FAX beeps, or pulses, are at 4.234 khz. The spike to the right is exactly 4.234 khz. This, coming from a newbie, may be all in my head. The photo above is my Yaesu tuned to NMF US Coast Guard Boston MA 4233.1 khz.ĭoes this look like to Yaesu is calibrated for USB? It is dead-on with AM but it 'looks' off in USB.
